SHARON -- The Silver Lake Conference Center announced the release of the

The summer programs begin with pre-camp on June 18 and continue through August 12. The brochure details each conference's theme and focus. Conferences are available for children eligible for entering school grades 4-12 in the fall of 2017. Most conference take place at the Conference Center in Sharon, CT. Some off-site conferences are included in the brochure, including
Hammer and A Nail — a service trip to rural Orland, Maine,
Biking North — a cycling conference that begins in Mystic, CT and ends at Silver Lake Conference Center, and
Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, and Allied Youth Camp — a high school conference to be held at The Pilgrim Lodge, a UCC camp in Maine.
"This very special place has been transforming lives and changing the world for 60 years. Join us this summer and experience the magic of God’s transformational love," writes Rev. Ryan Gackenheimer, Executive Director of Silver Lake in the brochure.
Silver Lake is hosting an Open House on May 21 from 2-4pm for first time campers to visit the camp, meet some staff, and learn about the amazing weeks that are available.
The brochure includes other information, including the three tiered pricing of each conference, refund and cancellation policies, and scholarship information. Print brochures will be available in early January.
