Rocky Ridge Session 1 Week 2 Day 7

This morning we played a very competitive game of Sabachi ball with Zach. There was teamwork and a couple amazing catches, afterwards we let out the remaining steam with a game of doctor dodgeball.     Today at Arts Or Sports Cailee lead the kids through the wooded area and instructed them on safe leaves to grab for our craft. They brought the leaves back to the cabin and we painted them onto cool sheets of blue paper with white paint. The other part of the craft involved decorating a wooden backdrop for the picture, we will finish the product during our next period.     Today was favorite color day which helped integrate the kids that were new this week but did not come to camp on Monday. It made it easy to divide them into groups by color and use it as a conversation piece!    We had a great time choosing between wood burning, ultimate frisbee, and counselor lead games at the 1620 house for enrichment!  Tomorrow is Red, White, and Blue day. Please wear the color circled on the sheet given to your camper. There will be a cookout tomorrow and plenty of awesome games and events, a perfect sneak peek of the Olympic session. Due to inclement weather there will be no cookout Friday so please remember to bring a lunch then!
