Church World Service - https://cwsglobal.org/
A Silver Lake Mission Partner, Church World Service works to "build a world where there is enough for all." Learn more and make a donation at their website (above) and watch the video (below) of Adam Smedberg talking to us about their work around the world as a part of Silver Lake At Home Week 2: Love Your Neighbor.
Would you rather create something tangible to give instead of (or in addition to) giving financially? Make a Church World Service kit (we've made hygiene kits at camp!)
The United Church of Christ has an ongoing commitment to ensuring that refugees are resettled in the U.S. and globally. The UCC designated its Giving Tuesday campaign to refugee resettlement efforts.
"Thanks to 835 generous donors, the United Church of Christ raised over $100,000 on Giving Tuesday to help asylum seekers and refugees around the world find a new place to call home." Read the full article here.
Make a donation today (designate your gift to "Giving Tuesday - Refugee Relief") and watch this video to learn more.
