2024 summer staff applications will open in October 2023
Summer Staff is divided into teams, managed by a Team Leader/Coordinator.
Summer Staff lead programs, cook meals, oversee water activities, clean, sing, climb, run, and generally make Silver Lake a safe, enjoyable, and blessed place to grow and begin faith journeys for so many young people.
The expected commitment is mid-June through mid-August, with one 24-hour day off each week. Those hired for Summer Staff are encouraged to commit to the full program.
Applicants for Summer Staff must be at least 16 years old. There are other age requirements for specific positions, including Team Leaders/Coordinators.
All staff will be expected to participate in emergency drills and respond to emergencies as trained. Establish and maintain a positive and helpful environment while living, working, and encouraging a Christian community. Assist with other departments as needed.
Individuals and groups are welcome to help with site maintenance, both repair and new construction projects. To make arrangements or for more information, learn more about our seasonal volunteer opportunities or contact camp at firstname.lastname@example.org.
