Our Summer Staff serve for 8 weeks during the summer. Summer Staff is divided into teams, managed by a coordinator. Please review the job descriptions below before applying for a position.
Camp Family is our first-year staff. You must be 16 to apply. Camp Family is responsible for general housekeeping around site, including cleaning dishes, bathrooms, and buildings. They also help out at the waterfront on buddy board, work in the Camp Store, and help other parts of staff on special projects. Camp Family is supervised by two Camp Family Coordinators (affectionately known as Mom and Dad), who must be at least 23 years old.
Our Kitchen Staff prepare three meals a day and snacks for everyone at camp. They are supervised by the Food Services Manager and the Kitchen Coordinator, who must be at least 21 years old.
Our Waterfront Staff maintain safe swimming and boating facilities. Waterfront Staff must be at least 18 years old and possess current lifeguarding, first aid, and CPR certifications. Current boating/watercraft certifications are needed to oversee the boating waterfront. Waterfront Staff are supervised by the Waterfront Coordinator, who must be at least 21 years old.
Our Maintenance Staff, known as ETF (Ecological Task Force), must be at least 17 years old and are responsible for general maintenance around the property, including mowing, minor repairs, and trash management. They often work on special projects around site. ETF is supervised by the Site Manager and the ETF Coordinator, who must be at least 21 years old.
Our Resource Staff are responsible for many of the program elements of our summer conferences. They teach our Interest Group classes, support the Deans' program needs, and work closely with the conferees. Resource Staff must be at least 17 years old. They are supervised by the Resource Coordinator, who must be at least 21 years old.
The Adventure Team, or A-Team, are our Ropes Course Facilitators, responsible for safety and programming on our high and low ropes courses. A-Team Specialists must be at least 17 years old and must have current ropes certifications. They are supervised by the A-Team Coordinator, who must be at least 21 years old.
The Administrative Team works closely with the year-round staff to keep the administration of camp running smoothly. They must be age 18 or older and are supervised by the Administrator.
